Solitary Experiments

Solitary Experiments was founded in Frankfurt (Oder) in 1994 by Dennis Schober and Michael Thielemann. In the first four years they were supported by Dana Apitz as a guest vocalist. Their first three albums "FINAL APPROACH", "PARADOX" and the remix CD "FINAL ASSAULT" were a big success and re-released by Out of Line in the year 2006, containing some bonus tracks. Their proper Out of Line debut "ADVANCE INTO UNKNOWN" did not only manifest their former status but took off like a rocket. 2010 was a very special year for that great band since it was their 15th stage anniversary. It was celebrated adequately by the CD "COMPENDIUM 2", containing hitherto unreleased collaborations, remixes and versions plus rare mixes for other artists, and with a sold-out mini festival in their adopted city Berlin. In March 2011 the first successful albums "ADVANCE INTO UNKNOWN" and "MIND OVER MATTER" were re-released as the "THE GREAT ILLUSION" with diverse bonus mixes. Numerous live gigs followed in 2011 and 2012 among which is also the gig at Blackfield 2012.
